5th Run of The Month and Counting... :D

Woke up at 6.00am and was very dumbfounded on what actually to do. Though I'm a morning person, but I've never woken up before 6.30am unless to play golf, or work related events.

So, this morning, I actually just sat and watched the tele which I did not tur on for at least 15 minutes. Then I slowly started to get ready for my morning jog.

The whole run was awesome as the son came out only after I had finished the run. So, it was a very cooling run through out. Stats for the run are as follows:

Distance : 8.59km
Duration : 53 minutes 12 seconds
Average Pace : 6 minutes 12 seconds per km

Still a long way to go to even complete 20km. Hopeful of completing it by middle of next year... Till my next post, Cheerio...

Your Face Makes My World Go Round

Did I translate that correctly? Hehehehe...

I don't know why but currently I'm addicted to this song... Seems that one of the first thing I do when I open either Google Chrome or Mozilla is to youtube this song.

Enjoy the song people like I do...

Sweet Sweet 15...

Yeay!!! I totally hit the 15 mark today!!!

Got up today quite late (blame it on EPL). Not only that but tummy was giving me problems and ended going to the loo twice. But, at 7.55am, managed to drag myself into the car and drove all the way to Mont Kiara Park.

This morning the weather was very favourable. Even at 8.10am, it was still cold as though it was at 7.00am. So, after parking the car, walked to my usual starting spot at the park.

It began nicely with the pace being under 5:30. Since today I've decided to go more than 10km, I forced a slower pace to make sure I'm unable to complete the run.

When I managed to reach 10km, then was when my feet began to feel very tired. It was probably due to the 7km that I did yesterday. However, I still continued because have promised myself that I won't go home unless I reach 15km.

And after a run of 1 hour, 39 minutes and 19 seconds, Runkeeper logged me for 15.11 km, which is currently my personal best record in distance and time.

After today's run, a few pointers that I learned:
1. Never run 7 km the day before and go for a 15 km the day after.
2. Nuts are not good, nuts are not good.
3. Always remeber to bring own water bottle as the van vendor could have finish up their water supply for the day.
4. Nuun taste better with cold water.

And in all, I'm still proud because not realizing it, I completed 22km of running in 24 hours. Now, I shall train myself to go at least 20km, but that shall be done next month only.

Till then, cheerio...

From Kizsports to Mont Kiara Park

Been quite sometime since I took out my family for an outing. So, since this weekend is a long weekend, we decided to spend our Saturday morning at One Utama.

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we left home quite late, around 11am (yes, I took my own sweet time getting ready). But 11am is still quite early for a Malaysian, so we managed to avoid the rush to shopping complexes and even found a parking spot in less than a minute.

Once we're in the building, we made our way to 2nd floor of the old wing. The minute my eldest saw the Kizsports signage, he started tugging me on the arm, like asking me to walk faster. This is his third time there, and everytime he's been there it has been a blast for him.

Our first two time that we've brought him here, it was on weekdays. So, we were quite shocked to see the number of people there during the weekend. Still, it did not deter my son from having another go at all the slides, swing and balls that was available.

Besides the Kizsports venue, I did want to find a new casing for my iPhone 4, and Wifey wanted to get some clothes for the children. I was shocked to see that the machine shop in the old wing closed down. As I did not want to walk all the way to the new wing, I abandoned that project and decided to hunt for a new golf shoe.

So, Golf House was my next destination and looked at all the golf shoes I did. Being a FootJoy fan, here are some of the shoes that caught my eye.

As unable to pick, decided to hold this purchase to another date.

For lunch, we decided to have KFC but when we reached the outlet, it has been relocated to another place. So, being hungry and not willing to go through the hassle of finding the so called outlet, we went out of OU and drove back to Keydee, and went to the outlet there.

In the evening, I decided to go for a simple run at Mont Kiara Park. Enjoyed it as had a great pace, less than 6:00 minutes for a 7km run. Here's the map of the run.

Tomorrow aiming for a 15km run. Hope I'm up to it. Cheerio...

Run on November 23, 2010

Been quite some time huh? Me and my so called promises. Probably I'm too engrossed with work now.

Anyhow, I'll be posting quite a few things over this weekend. But for today, just have a look at my running route this morning.

Next target is to complete a 10km run pace under 6:30.

Kiddster : To run or not to run, that is the question...
